Aynsley Fine China Tea Cup & Saucer including 2 plates in Henley Stratford pattern.
Gold gilt adds a nice sparkle. Gold covers the handle, the rims and an inner band on the cup’s interior as well as the plate circumference. The ivory ground on all pieces is embellished with a band of gently flowing scrolls and flowers and a thinner band of golden leaves sandwiched between.
Aynsley China had been in business since 1775.. The saucer measures almost 5 1/2 inches across. The tea cup stands 2 3/4 inches high and is 3 1/4 inches at the rim. The other 2 plates are 6 .5 inches and 7.5 inches in diameter.
